27/08/2021 - 00:49
31/12/2021 - 00:49
Etc/GMT+1

Thanks to the relative ease of Covid regulations, the following festivals should take place.
If you would like to share your interest for the game with passers-by and have some interest in pedagogy, you are very welcome as volunteer.
Just mail for which events you would volunteer to "president@gofed.be", thanks !

See below a list of planned festivals for this end of year 2021:

BRUSSELS GAMES FESTIVAL

(- Friday 27/08: opening night)
- Saturday 28/08 from 12:00 to 20:00
- Sunday 29/08 from 12:00 to 19:00
https://brusselsgamesfestival.be/

It is objectively the most important event of the year for the promotion of Go.
The Belgian Go Federation has been there every year since the first edition.
This time we will be at the Kings and Queens cafe rue du Fossé aux Loups 27 in the center of Bruxelles. It should also be possible to animate "online".
→ Need 1 to 3 volunteers minimum for Saturdays / Sundays.

OPEN DOORS DAY AT THE BELGIUM-CHINA ASSOCIATION

- Saturday September 18 2021 afternoon
https://www.belchin.be/language/en/

This is the location where the Phenix G club plays and an opportunity to make new recruits. There is there a smart audience who is interested in Chinese culture.
There would probably be plenty to take care of in a quite comfortable location (inside with tea and chocolates ...).
→ Need at least 1-2 volunteers.

MADE IN ASIA

- Friday October 8 from 12:00 to 20:00
- Saturday October 9 from 10:00 to 19:00
- Sunday October 10 from 10:00 to 18:00
https://www.madeinasia.be

Made In Asia is an important festival where we have also been present for twenty years.
Regarding the Covid, we should expect constraints... https://www.madeinasia.be/fr/corona-virus-mesures/.
As obviously spending 3 days with masks is not so fun ... it is to take into account.
→ Need at least 1 volunteer for Friday and a minimum of 3-4 volunteers per day for Saturdays / Sundays.

I LOVE SCIENCE

- Friday October 15 from 9:00 to 16:00
- Saturday October 16 from 10:00 to 18:00
- Sunday October 17 from 10:00 to 18:00
https://ilovescience.brussels/

This will be the first time that Go will be represented at this festival.
It’s really an interesting event with a curious audience who are no doubt likely to be interested in Go. It will be an opportunity to present the game but also the news of the game with artificial intelligence.
→ Need at least 1 volunteer for Friday (day for school groups) and 2-3 volunteers minimum for Saturdays / Sundays.
