This year we set up a new interclub formula!

The selection will take place on June 30th (Saturday) between le Phenix, Gent, Antwerp and Leuven go clubs.

The event will start at 10:00.

The finals will take place on Oct 20th, the addresses will be communicated later to each concerned club.

2018
1. La Fédération Belge de Go nomme un Directeur de tournoi chargé d'organiser un championnat Interclubs.
2. La participation au championnat est réservée aux clubs reconnus par la Fédération Belge de Go, et seuls les joueurs inscrits à la Fédération peuvent participer à cette compétition.
3. Le tournoi se déroule en deux parties :
   • Une journée de sélection
   • Une journée de finale

   Le lieu et la date seront communiqués au moins 2 mois avant chaque évènement.

4. Pour s'inscrire, un Club doit confirmer, au plus tard 15 jours avant la journée de sélection, qu’il pourra bien envoyer au moins 3 joueurs de son club à la journée de sélection et, s’il est sélectionné, à la finale.
5. Organisation de la journée de sélection : les pools rassemblent 3 à 5 (idéalement 4) clubs qui se rencontrent tous pendant une journée. Les équipes se rencontrent toutes (round robin) afin d’établir un classement comme expliqué ci-dessous.
6. Organisation de la journée de finale : les 2 meilleurs clubs de chaque pool sont sélectionnés pour une deuxième journée de compétition qui aura lieu plus tard dans l’année. Le format est le même (round robin) que la journée de sélection. Les clubs peuvent envoyer des joueurs différents. Le vainqueur de cette journée de finale sera déclaré champion des interclubs et recevra la coupe jusqu’à l’année suivante.
7. Chaque match oppose deux équipes qui s'affrontent en parties de Go individuelles comme suit: les plus forts joueurs de chaque équipe à la table 1, les deuxièmes à la table 2 et les troisièmes à la table 3. Un club peut décider d’envoyer plus de 3 joueurs pour la journée et les échanger entre les rondes.
8. Le classement le plus récent sert de référence pour établir la force des joueurs. Le capitaine des interclubs et/ou le responsable du club peut décider de promouvoir (uniquement vers le haut donc !) un joueur de son équipe jusqu'au niveau max de 6 kyu (au-delà duquel l'approbation de la commission de classement est nécessaire)
9. Toutes les parties sont jouées à handicap correct (maximum 9 pierres) suivant les règles japonaises (Nihon-Kiin). Le handicap entre adversaires est calculé en prenant leur différence de niveau en points, divisée par cent et arrondie vers le bas.
10. Le temps de réflexion est de 1 heure par joueur, suivi de 20 pierres par 5 minutes.
11. Un joueur sans adversaire gagne sa partie par forfait (après 1h). Par contre, il n'y a pas de gagnant lorsqu'une table n'est occupée par aucune équipe.
12. Toute victoire rapporte respectivement:
    • 1 point tableau et 3 points pondérés face à un adversaire à la table 1
    • 1 point tableau et 2 points pondérés face à un adversaire à la table 2
    • 1 point tableau et 1 point pondéré face à un adversaire à la table 3
    • 1 point tableau et 0 point pondéré en l'absence d'adversaire.
13. Le classement est établi en tenant compte, par ordre d'importance:
    1. du nombre total de points tableaux,
    2. du nombre total de points pondérés,
    3. du résultat de la confrontation directe,
    4. du résultat de la confrontation directe à la première table.
    5. Si un ex-aequo subsiste, la victoire sera donnée à l’équipe qui a fait participer le joueur le plus faible !
14. Les parties réellement jouées (donc, pas les forfaits) seront comptabilisées pour le classement national (comme des parties de tournoi)
15. En cas de forfait général d'un club en cours de saison, plus aucun résultat de ce club ne sera pris en compte pour le classement interclubs (en revanche, les résultats des parties individuelles seront pris en compte pour le classement national)
16. En cas de litige ou de fraude, le Directeur de tournoi décide en âme et conscience. Sa décision est sans appel.

For the first time, ASBL Pierre Philosophale invites you to its Go tournament in the Maison des Jeunes le Hangar in Andenne (Namur - Belgium)!

Whether you are an experienced player, a beginner or just interested in Go, we will welcome you on Saturday 30th September 2017 and Sunday 01st October 2017.

Tournament format

Five rounds MacMahon without handicap.
Timing: 1 hour per player + byo-yomi: 15 stones for 5 minutes
Komi: 6.5

Non-smoking tournament.

Registration and entry Fee

• 10€ for registration and payment before the 27/09/2017
• 15€ after the 27/09/2017
• -5€ for Players born after 30/09/2005

You can pay the fee by transfer on our bank account with the communication: "SnapBack" + your name + your rank. Information about the bank account of the ASBL Pierre Philosophale are BE91 0018 1793 3176 (BIC : GEBABEBB).

Please note that you only qualify for the early registration fee if the payment arrives before 27/09/2017. It is your responsibility to take into account the possible delay of your bank in transferring money. When your payment arrives after 27/09/2016, you risk having to pay the late registration fee on site, after which your original payment will be refunded minus administration costs.

Players from outside the Euro zone facing high bank transfer costs, qualify for the early registration fee if they register online before 27/09/2017.

If you pre-register and cannot make it for the first round, you are expected to notify the organization. For this, you can use the phone numbers +32 474 27 78 64 or +32 478 61 36 09. In addition to any consequences as specified in EGF rules, not showing up for the first round without warning the organization will forfeit the tournament.

Once your registration fee has been received, you will be paired for the first round. You only have to confirm your presence if there are mistakes in your name or rating on our wall-list.

You can cancel your registration by warning us. Before 27/09/2017, maximum 8€ will be refunded, after 27/09/2017 only 7.5€.

Prizes

A special prize will be awarded to the winner of the tournament, the most deserving player, and the player from the most distant region / country.

Prizes are guaranteed for all the players with 4 or 5 wins.
Prizes for top places are determined by the MMS score and SOS. Prizes are divided equally if both MMS and SOS are equal.

Miscellaneous

The 1st table will have the privilege of playing on a traditional Goban.
A retransmission of the 1st table will take place on the internet.
A BBQ and a bar are provided during the two-day tournament. Guests can enjoy eating and drinking on site.
Initiations to the Go and a revision space are provided.

A lottery will take place on the second day.

Accommodation

If you have difficulty finding accommodation, it is possible to sleep on site. In this case, please inform the organization by e-mail (piphiasbl@gmail.com), and take your sleeping equipment (Air mattress, cover ...).

Activities (Karaoke, cards, board games ...) will be organized in the evening according to the number of people.
