The Chinese Culture Center in Brussels will be opened. As part of the opening ceremonies there will be 2 visiting Chinese professionals (3 actually, counting Fan Hui).
These are two very strong pros: Mr. Wang Runan (8-Dan Pro, President of the Chinese Go Association) and Mr. Zhang Wendong (9-Dan Pro, Manager at China Qi-Yuan).
They will give a lecture in which they will be commenting on a pro game, as well as playing a simultanious game.

We will have our annual general assembly, discussing the previous and next year of the BGF activities.

It will be held at "Het Warm Water - L’Eau Chaude", Rue des Renards/Vossenstraat 25, Brussels

The yearly General Assembly 2013-14 will be held on Sunday 19/01/2014 at 3 PM in "l'Egalité"
Parvis de Saint-Gilles, 1060 Bruxelles.

All members of our federation willing to contribute are welcome.

Two Korean professionals will visit Belgium from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th October 2013.

They will participate in the following activities:

• On Friday night, they will give a lecture from 20:00 until 23:00.
• During the Brussels tournament, they will give game commentaries (to be confirmed).

Details of the professional lecture:

• When? Friday 25/10, 20:00-23:00
• Where? Youth hostel De Blauwput, kleine zaal
• Cost? 2 euro per participant

"Belgo" was the official magazine of the Belgian Go Federation which was published as a quarterly review from 1985 till 2005.

Due to a lack of contributors, "Belgo" had stopped to be published between end 2005 and 2015 (3 issues were published in 2007-2008) and had been replaced between 2006 and 2010 by an electronic newsletter, "BelgoNet" (25 electronic issues)

"Belgo" had been brought back to life between 2015 and 2018 (in the beginning on a semestrial basis, later one issue every 4 months)...before dying once again.
He was then briefly replaced by a bi-monthly "newsletter" whose only 2 issues were published begin 2020.
