Tournament format

Five rounds MacMahon without handicap
Timing: 1 hour per player + byo-yomi: 15 stones for 5 minutes
Komi: 6.5

Non-smoking tournament

Registration and entry Fee

  • 15€ for registration and payment before the 22/10/2018
  • 20€ after the 22/10/2018 (included)
  • +5€ for Belgian players, non-member of the BGF (Why and How to become a member)
  • -5€ for Players born after 27/10/2006

You can pay the fee by transfer on our bank account with the communication : "Brussels" + your name + your rank. Information about the bank account of the Belgian Go Federation are here.

Please note that you only qualify for the early registration fee if the the payment arrives before 22/10/2018. It is your responsibility to take into account the possible delay of your bank in transferring money. When your payment arrives after 23/10/2018 (included), you risk to have to pay the late registration fee on site, after which your original payment will be refunded minus administration costs.

Players from outside the Euro zone facing high bank transfer costs, qualify for the early registration fee if they register online before 22/10/2018.

If you pre-register and can not make it for the first round, you are expected to notify the organization. For this, you can use the phone numbers +32 485 61 40 89 or +32 486 96 85 18. In addition to any consequences as specified in EGF rules, not showing up for the first round without warning the organization will forfeit the tournament.

Once your registration fee has been received, you will be paired for the first round. You only have to confirm your presence if there are mistakes in your name or rating on our wall-list. You can cancel your registration by warning us. Before 22/10/2018, 12€ will be refunded, after 23/10/2018 only 7.5€.

Prizes are guaranteed for all the players with 4 or 5 wins.
Prizes for top places are determined by the MMS score and SOS. Prizes are divided equally if both MMS and SOS are equal.

General Information

The Brussels tournament will be held on October 24-25th, 2009.

Tournament format

5 rounds MacMahon without handicap
timing: 1 hour per player
byo-yomi: 15 stones for 5 minutes
komi: 6.5

Non-smoking tournament
(smoking corner in the Atomic 's Tavern on the ground floor).

Registration and entry Fee

  • 15 EUR for registration and payment before the 19/10/2009
  • 20 EUR after the 19/10/2009

+5 EUR for Belgian players, non-member of the BGF
-5 EUR for Players born after 23/10/1997

You can pay the fee by transfer on our bank account with the communication : "Brussels" + your name + your rank.

Prizes

  • 1st prize: 400 EUR
  • 2nd prize: 300 EUR
  • 3rd prize: 150 EUR
  • 4th prize: 100 EUR
  • 5th prize: 50 EUR

Prizes are guaranteed for all the players with 4 or 5 wins.
There will be a tombola for all pre-registered players.
Prizes for top places are determined by number of points and SOS. Prizes are divided equally if the number of points and the SOS is equal.
